2007 Activities
Well
we begin 2007 a bit different than several previous years. The Fosters and
theSwensons got together at our home in La Casa Grande, played
Yhatze, had dinner and then the Fosters went home and we went to bed and watched the New
Year in on TV.
Pretty mild and we forgot to take any
pics.
Herschel
Stroud planned a surprise birthday party for his
wife, Jacque on January 5, 2007, and had the picture below taken, and he did
it with a 10 second delay so that he could be next to her. This
was her 75th birthday and it was a surprise. Glad we were invited.

Son Mike and Charneil took a
DisneyCruise with her daughter, Jackie
and family, and
Mike sent this pic of him. Their Boat was the blue one in the background.

The following
pictures are of our trip to Denver for Cary Wagner's and Jeff Tamburro's Wedding

Below is a picture

Bob and Brian
Fox sporting their Bronze Medals having been
a part of the Rocky Mountain's Distrrict Chorus
"The Sound of the Rockies" from Denver at the Barbarshop singing
International Contest. The medal represents THIRD PLACE
out of 31 competing groups from all over the world. No Chorus from
this district has ever medaled and this was Bob's first Medal since joining the
Society some 46 years ago, of course it is Brian's first, of which he is extremely
proud. They will be going to Nashville next year to see if the Chorus can place in the top
two.
#32-Courtny
Lane-Starting in her first Volley Ball game
for the Lady Falcons of French Middle School

Courtny played
very well and her team beat the
Lady Jaguars from Jardine 15-13
Game September

The Lady Falcons played their hearts out only to
lose a number of close games.

Pictures below
are of Courtny's Basketball game at French Middle School
where she is a 7th grader. And I must say Great Grandpa & Great Grandma Swenson
were proud
to have seen her play.

By special
request Courtny's Aunt Kris and her son
Hudsyn Beam Money came to see Courtny's game also.
I have to say he is a handsome lad but why not his Mother is also.

Also at the
game were Courtny's Mom, Aimee and just as cute as a button Courtny's
sister Adriana. Hope to see more of Courtny's BB next year when she will be an 8th grader.

The picture below was taken
because these folks Uncle Scott
was in a musical , Charlie Brown, in which he played the part of Linus.
This picture was taken in the French Activities center.

Pics that
follow are from our Cruise to celebrate Swede's 80th birthday

This was our table every night
for dinner, our waiters were
Corina from Romania on Swede's right and Kamonchanok(we called her Kay for short)
from Thailand
We celebrated my Birthday that evening with Champagne and an Anniversary cake in
celebration
of our freinds, Jim and Gloria Foster on their 8th Anniversary.

Well no matter
what takes place on a Cruise, Tropical Storms, losing things overboard, and
the long walks thru the ship to get anywhere, one can always a Silver Lining to end the
day
and in this case on the last day at Sea on the Carnival Glory.
