Deborah Swenson Beam (1951- )

Debbie was born in Scott City KS.  She graduated from Topeka West High School in 1969 and went to Emporia State.  She came back to Topeka KS and has worked for USD#501, Merchants and Capital City Banks. She obtained a Real Estate License and worked in Topeka with Kirk and Cobb Realtors and then had a opportunity to keep more of the commission by transferring to Crosley Realtors, which she eventually purchased.  Most of the time she owned the Company Debbie worked along with a builder of new homes and together they had a substantial part in the increase homes in and around Topeka. She then became aware of a new program being inaugurated by the Coldwell Banker firm and is now the Concierge Director for Coldwell Banker Realtors. She has been active in the local and Kansas State Realtors Association and has served as President of Topeka Realtors Association. She is a member of Christ The King Catholic Church. She was married to Louis Gene Beam in 1972 and they divorced December 1979. Gene graduated from Topeka High and served in the Vietnam War in the Marine Corps, in a heliocopter unit. Gene worked as an auto mechanic and then as a tire maker for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co.  He was a member of the Methodist Church.

Kristen Beam (1979- )

Kristen ( Kris) was born in Topeka KS.  She graduated from Washburn Rural High School and is attending Allen County Junior College.  Kris works currently for Coldwell Banker Realtors as an Assistant Agent and also part time for Krigel's Jewelers in the West Ridge Mall.

PFC Kristen Beam-2001
Joined the Kansas National Guard and went to Basic Training in South Carolina. She sustained an injury near the close of her training however she was graduated but could not march.  She was then sent to Fort Lee in Virginia for Advanced training but was sent home on Medical Leave. During this time she was injured in an auto accident and it now appears she will be be given a Medical Discharge.
