(1628-1672) Samuel was born at Theydon Garnon, Essex CO. England and died in Hampton, Rockingham CO. NH. Samuel came to Hampton within a few years of its settlement. His first home was bought from Capt. Christopher Hussey and he received grants of land in 1658 which included a quarter acre on the Hampton Meeting House Green, given to him by Roger Shaw, who had become his Father-in-law in 1652. In 1663 he drew Lot # 60 for 100 acres. in 1893 this land was still in the Fogg Family having been transferred without Deed from generation to generation for 230 years. (1666-1755) They were both born and died in Hampton, Rockingham CO. NH. During the summer of 1708 there was much fear of the French and Indians so there was set up a special force at Fort Williams. Many of the men from Portsmouth and Hampton NH. were called. Seth was recorded as serving with them from June 1 to July 15, 1708. Daughter of Seth and Sara Fogg Hannah Fogg
