Elmer was born in Brown CO. Ohio. He traveled in horse drawn wagon selling Watkins
products. Mary was born in Westboro, Clinton CO. Ohio. They are both buried in the IOOF
cemetery in Blanchester OH.

Chester (Chet) Fox (1917-1972)
and wife (m. 1942)
Virginia Henney (1919- )
Chet was from Blanchester, Ohio. He was a Tech. Sergeant in the Air Force during World
War II. Also serving were his two brothers, Glen and Paul. During the war Chet and
Virginia
were married and had a daughter, Charlotte. At the end of the war, when he was discharged,
they moved to his wife's hometown, Topeka, KS. That is where they had their second child,
Bob. Chet was a salesman and they moved to Lincoln, NB for a short time and then back to
Topeka. They were members of the
Presbyterian Church and he had as a hobby of Barbershop
Quartet Singing. He finally went to work for the SPEBSQSA organization in Kenosha, WI.
After his death in Kenosha WI. in 1972 he was buried in Topeka KS and Virginia moved back
to Topeka
and eventually married R.G.Swede Swenson. (see Swenson)

During high school Bob volunteered for a six year Navy program and after graduation
he
served two tours of duty in Vietnam. After his discharge he attended two years of college
and then became a salesman and like his father also became a member of the Barbershop
Quartet
Society, singing in Choruses, Quartets and directing Choruses. He married Susan in Topeka
and they had a son Brian. In a few years they moved to Glenwood Springs, CO. Brian is also
musical and enjoys sports such as soccer, skiing and snowboarding. Susan is a Social
Worker,
having received her Master's degree at KU in Lawrence, KS.

Glen was born in
Blanchester OH. and Ruby was born in Wilmington OH. Glen entered the Quartermaster
Corps of the U. S. Army in WWII at Fort Benjamin Harrisson. Soon he was on a ship
for Africa and took part in that invasion, then to Sicily and finally into Italy. he
followed the soldiers and collected the clothes and shoes off the fallen soldiers. He
repaired and cleaned them to be used again by other soldiers. Glen developed a cold
from sleeping on wet grounds with no tents from which he developed pneumonia in Italy and
died. he was buried in Bari, Italy and then sent home after the war to be buried at
the IOOF Cemetery in Blanchester, OH.
