John was born in white Parish, Wiltshire, England and Dorothy was born in Langford, Wiltshire, England.   John died in Salisbury, MA. and Dorothy died in Newbury, MA.

John was born in Bridgewater, England and died in Woodbridge, NJ. John came on the ship "James" from Southhampton, England in 1635. and lived in Newbury, MA until 1666 when he moved to Woodbridge, NJ. He was one of the original grantees to Woodbridge and received 30 acres of land on the east side of Strawberry Hill, which is north of the Junction of Route 25 of the Shore Route with the Amboy Road at Woodbridge.  He was a member of the Governor's Council in 1672, 1675 and 1679. He was Captain of the Militia at woodbridge in 1675.

Susannah Kingsbury (1636-1718)

He was born in Newbury, MA. and Susannah was born in Ipswich, MA.  He is buried at Haverhill, MA. and she is buried in Newbury, MA.  Joseph was killed by Indians in 1694.  This story is told "Old Families of Salisbury and Amesbury MA." p. 286.
